Yellowstone or Yosemite National Park?

Question: Which one do you like better? I've been to Yellowstone National Park , but not Yosemitte. Now, me and my husband are planning to go to Yosemite and I was just wondering if it's any different that Yellowstone. Also, is end of May a good time to go there?

Answer: Yosemite is very different than Yellowstone. Yosemite Valley is an awesome site to behold. May is an EXCELLENT time to visit Yosemite, since the waterfalls are usually flowing at full strength, depending on the snowpack. You didn't mention if you are flying or driving, or which direction you are coming from. Assuming that you are coming in from SF, you should have no problems. Some of the high country roads, like 120, might not be open over Tioga Pass due to snow. Are you driving? If you can, bring your bike. There's nothing like riding in the Yosemite Valley. If not, that's OK, you can rent one. Have fun!
