Isn't st.louis arguably the most recognizable skyline in the U.S.?

Question: I mean because st.louis has got to have the most unique building in their skyline that is so recognizable and not even remotely close to anything in any other skyline.

Answer: I think the Arch is one of the easiest structures to recognize anywhere. Thus, if you *know* about the St. Louis Arch, then there is no doubt which city you are seeing when you look at the St. Louis skyline. It is instantly recognizable. There are skylines that are more impressive, but you often have to look a bit to make sure you are seeing Toronto rather than Seattle, or Chicago rather than New York. Most buildings pretty much look alike, but there are other dead-giveaways...like the Statue of Liberty or Washington Monument. My vote??? I would say St. Louis would be in the top 3 most easily recognized skylines. Check out http://cityskylineart.com/indexPPC.html for one-stop comparisons of city skylines.
