Question: I have a friend that recently purchased a 30ft Sea Ray, he calls it a yacht. Another friend told me (who also has a boat) that it isn't a yacht until 40ft. Who is right?
Answer: A yacht is any size vessel that is used for pleasure. Even a little sunfish or rowboat is technically a yacht if you use it for recreation.
